1st Brown Bag Discussion

Because the location of Friday’s┬ámeet and greet was quite a distance from the Bradenton campus, we understand that some faculty who wanted to attend were unable. In that spirit, we would like to allow for members and non-members to join us for this first Brown Bag. Non-members who would like more information or who have questions can get this information and pose these questions here during the first half of the discussion. Following some general information, we would like for this meeting to serve as a springboard for any issues that members would like for our chapter to explore. Come prepared to discuss any issues you may have with regards to equity, fairness, ethics, etc.

Membership

The State College of Florida AAUP chapter has a number of events listed on its website (https://scfmsaaup.wordpress.com/). Please remember that in order to attend these events (except for the Meet and Greet at Pub 32), a faculty member (full or part time) must be a member of the national AAUP organization first. So, now is the time to join AAUP and join us for some academic discussions that directly pertain to what is going on at State College of Florida.
